Closing

After the Awards Show Friday night, we went to the closing gala which was literally so fun. It was right on the beach and there was endless free food and drinks. They had fun little stations such as blind temporary tattooing, and even a massage station. The fireworks show was maybe one of the best fireworks shows I've ever seen in my life. It was the perfect way to end an amazing week.

Saturday morning we had breakfast with our class before all going our separate ways. I was looking forward to spending a day in Cannes not at the festival, but unfortunately I was really sick on Saturday and didn't even leave the hotel room. Luckily, my dad met me the following night when I was feeling slightly better and we spent another week exploring the South of France. 

Overall, the Cannes Lions Experience has been one of my favorite parts of attending UM thus far, and definitely my favorite part of the advertising program. I feel so equipped with the knowledge and perspective I need to make impactful work that is reflective of my style and my personal creativity. I have never felt more inspired by my chosen career path and I can't wait to see what the future holds.
